Thread your imagination into something truly unique in this modern embroidery course, where young makers will learn a range of decorative stitches to create their very own iron-on patches and even try their hand at visible mending! 🧵 What you’ll do: ✂ Learn essential stitches – Start by exploring a variety of embroidery techniques, from satin stitch to French knots, while building confidence with fun mini projects 🎨 Design your own patches – Plan and stitch bold, expressive designs on colourful fabric, turning your ideas into something you can wear, share, or decorate with ✨ Finish like a pro – Add backing to transform your embroidery into iron-on patches, and explore creative ways to use your stitching to repair or personalise clothes 🎯 All levels welcome – Whether you're threading a needle for the first time or already love textiles, there’s something here for every skill level ✍ Creative freedom – From initials to abstract art, cute motifs to bold slogans, your designs are entirely up to you 🧰 Practical techniques – Get hands-on with embroidery hoops, floss, and heat-erasable pens, and learn how to make your patches neat, secure, and ready to use Join us for a week of stitching, designing, and transforming thread into statement pieces!

FOOD & DRINK:
All students should bring a packed lunch, please ensure this is NUT FREE and no glass containers. Squash, water and biscuits will be provided during morning and afternoon breaks. Children who join us for our “Breakfast & Tea Club” will also need to bring their own packed lunch, nut free and no glass please.
PAYMENT NOTES:
- Card payments made over Stripe will be subject to a booking fee incurred by the platform fees and Stripe fees.
