Discover the joy of being creative with clay by making decorative and functional ceramic works. A comprehensive introduction to the basic pottery techniques. Coiling, slab work, modelling and throwing on the wheel Have fun decorating with texture, incision and coloured slips Individual attention in a small group Inspirational teacher. Selected pieces of work will be glazed and fired for a durable finish. Due to the drying, firing and glazing times involved, the work will need to be collected at a later date.
Camp notes
FOOD & DRINK
All students should bring a packed lunch, please ensure this is NUT FREE and no glass containers. Squash, water and biscuits will be provided during morning and afternoon breaks. Children who join us for our “Breakfast & Tea Club” will also need to bring their own packed lunch, nut free and no glass please.
